The gearbox temp will run ambient temp plus 180 degrees F. Having a tank with an extra few quarts would do wonders for cooling the gearbox. Besides, if you are moving the battery to the rear, you are losing weight where you need it to keep the right front from spinning.....but, if you are spending as much on the car as originally planned then your builder would no doubt be balancing the corner weights. If not, he better have a darn good explanation why not.
