I'll stick with Mobil. I've had occasional some smoke at idle so I rebuilt my original 87 spg turbo after 200k. The brass bushings were worn but didn't have the typical carbon buildup. Even the piston ring type of ring/seal at the turbine end of the shaft turned freely. They're usually stuck to the shaft or fairly hard to move. The reason it smoked was the ring cut a very slight groove into the mating surface. I don't blame it on the oil. The ring itself isn't the best design and some places sell a ring with overlapping ends. It was in excellent condition considering I've run it at least 15psi for the past 120K. I'll mount my new ball bearing unit pretty soon.
