You can make a brace for alot less. I have all the parts to make a homemade brace just sitting in the garage and the total cost is less then $100. I see no reason why a brace should cost so much. Can't a mold be made for the two pieces and then hot metal just poured into the mold and presto your done. If someone already had a brace to be used for the mold then your half way done. Steel is cheap, strong and easily work with. Why not cut out the middle man and just find someone who can make a mold and then make a few dozen and sell them? Any thoughts on this?
