Ive noticed on cranking the injectors get a more frequent ground pulse are the starter wires on rite? (another stretch)
it is odd that you are able to get it to lean out by creating a vacum leak between the AMM & TB this would indicate some controll based on AMM input
so I would be less likley to think the drivewr circuit was grounded but Id still take dutycycle VS AMM & CTS measurements & see how AMM & CTS input efects injDC
have you pulled the plugs? is one or 2 real wet while the rest look good? (a good indicator of leaking injectors)
another totaly weard thing is I had one come in with a weak coil that belched black snoke & seemed rich too flooding out & stuff I took readings on 2ndary voltage & it was low a new coil fixed it rite up
take care
