i have swapped the injectors. i guess i'm factory trained but i have never had to fix a saab by using a diagnostic value not in the factory book ( i own the 900 set.) the bently manual refers to a measurement across both injector pins that would be between 1.5-.5 volts depending on temperature. the bosch lh technical training manual that i got a hold of today makes no reference to injector voltage except that the ecu compensates for battery voltage differences. i get twelve volts from the injector connector to ground(with the car running,) and that made me think something was going on. this is a simple system (compared to any trionic) and i can't believe it's something i haven't seen before. i have replaced any component that i suspect (recently parted the same car) and done a pin check on the ecu.
i have cleaned the grounds at the head (tsat area) and under the radiator. all of the ecu grounds test 0 ohms at the ecu connector.
appreciate some thoughts, as i has to be something i'm overlooking (maybe?)
thanks all
