I have zigger of a question about the water lines Posted by Inga [Email] (#2994) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Inga) on Tue, 11 Oct 2005 11:55:05 In Reply to: Re: I have bent hard lines before no problem, Price, Mon, 10 Oct 2005 15:37:34 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Everyone knows how the OEM water lines run in and out for the turbo. Well I needed to mod mine a little because I didn't get the water cooler turbo from the factory. (85 900)
What I need to know is the water line coming out of the heater core over the water pump and into the hard pipe that runs under the intake. This line runs across the top of the motor and under the intake. (It actually starts btw intake runner 1 and 2) Ok about mid way over to what I'll call the front of the eng(Front of the car) there is a 90 or "T" in that line. It used to help heat the TB. Is the under a great deal of pressure or will it be able to pull water from the turbo. OEM location is already being used by a temp gauge. Plus MY oil line won’t allow room for the water line. I can add a picture if anyone needs me to. I always have trouble with that.
The Question: Which way is the water going to run. From the rad to the intake or from the intake to the rad???
