Yes, classic problem!!!

The gearbox has a nipple on the end that fits into the rubber mount and they engage in a bonding relationship that doesn't want to be put asunder by man or beast.

Some people insert the bolt into the nipple and give it a whack with a hammer. Ugh! Makes me nervous- it's an aluminum nipple. And I have seen a broken one or two over the years.

Another method is to get a pry bar behind the gearbox from the engine side. Difficult also because the rubber in the mount will stretch and stretch. I've had some success with this one.

Yet another is to use the car itself. You have the engine/gearbox assembly up on your chain hoist, pull the car back as far as you can to put as much pressure on the mount as possible to stretch it, then try prying. I guess that's what I do when I use the prybar method.

Another way is to remove the engine first and they try twisting the transmission- that's worked for me on particularly tough ones.

And finally, I've heard of people cutting out the rubber of the mount. It ruins a mount for one thing. And the rubber is pretty tough to cut I would imagine. I can't really recommend it.
