Fiance out of work (we're living together) and our combined income can only afford her TT roadster (which she has wrecked and we don't have funds to fix it and sell it instead of the Aero). The Aero was to be the 'family car' (she has a rapidly growing 8year old son and the Aero offered more rear seat room than my 2000 Audi S4). Because Saab can't sell enough cars,due (IMHO) to perceived low-quality issues, due to lack of good advertising, and to perceived low resale value, they are heavily discounting their cars. I understand that selling a car in the first year of ownership is not a good idea, but I only lost 2500 on the Audi S4 I sold,compared to purchase price. Had I bought a 2001 M3 I would be selling it for what I paid. I'll be LUCKY to LOSE $10,000 in terms of what I get for the Aero compared to what I bought it for. I'll never buy another Saab,
even though I liked the car.
