I have a 2000 9-5 Aero.
There have been no serious problems. In fact except for
a carbon dash which discolored and that was replaced under
warranty all parts are still the same.
The only bad thing were the OEM tires which I replaced with
Dunlops SP9000s.
Only car stuff that changed was what I had done when I upped my
engine to 260Hp.
I can only recommend the 9-5 Aero if you wish to own a car for
a few years (6 or longer) if however you wish to change 4 years
down the road, you are better off leasing one.
Regards,
Coolknight
P.S. Up to now the SAAB keeps up with my driving, and one should
note that most German cars I have had quickly developed all sorts
of problems. (Engine, gearbox, wheels, brakes you name it.)
