If your most recent post (re: on/off switch) proves correct, could we disconnect fuse 14, drain the batteries, and leave them for dead, thereby solving the problem? Perhaps several cycles would be necessary to get them good and dead. Or does the main battery set off the alarm once fuse 14 is reinstalled and batteries are detected low?
