The best gas I've found in Toronto is Sunoco Ultra94 which is 10% Ethanol. As I understand it a mixture of 10% Ethanol decreases CO emmisions by about 40%, but If you are correct in your statement then I'm actually burning more fuel/km? Would switching to another brand of gas with a lower octane rating but no Ethanol addition increase my performance/mileage? How would this affect my emmissions? As far as I know the next best fuel for octane rating available in my area is 92- is the lower octane worth the trade-offs?
