Light right foot + no boost = mileage. It does not = AREO. Ok its nice to have a well proforming car and get good mileage. But some of these numbers must be mostly open highway. All of my 2500 miles on my '03 auto SW have been in the city and suburbs of Chicago. Maybe 200 miles on the interstate. All using 93 octane. Mileage has been in the high 18's. SID put the high on the interstate at 24 mpg @75-80 mph average. Over the past 1500 miles (I gave it 1000 for brake-in)I have not been concerned with keeping the boost down.
