I'm sorry if this is a foolish question, but I am aware that the Saab engine is a "turbo" engine. What exactly does that mean? Is it just a really powerful engine? Does it mean you get more power from a smaller engine? If the engine specs were the same, but it wasn't Turbo, would their be a difference?
Also, my previous (non-Saab) cars all used regular unleaded gas. I spoke with two Saab owners, one who said he uses regular gas because he never noticed a difference, and one who is adamant about using only premium gas. At 20,000 miles a year, the difference would only be a few hundred per year so I plan on using premium (seems like a good investment) but I wondered what other people's experiences were.
