Hi you guys. I've been checking CL and another 900s manual is for sale. I have no idea how to post pics here but it seems to be powder blue--it's an hour from me so we'll have to go later this week.
Here's what I know--the guy bought it for his nephew but his nephew got into some kind of issues and did not drive it. The guy replaced the clutch. Previously owned by a woman.
The carfax looks okay if a bit spotty on some years.
It has 117,000 miles.
The head gasket was replaced by the lady and he has some other service records. The headliner was replaced by her too. He replaced the clutch and rear brakes. He says it has no rust but the top is quite faded. There is a sunroof there but it doesn't work properly. The a/c also doesn't work as there is no freon in it so maybe this is like the other car in re: to a/c.
It has leather inside. It has an aftermarket radio with CD player but no iPod adapter.
If you have any advice of what else to look for as this will be too far away from us to bring it all the way back for my mechanic/friend. I saw things he did (pushed strongly on the front and back to be sure the shocks were okay; moved the clutch without putting the gas on but while the car was idling and the car moved a little which was good as it showed the engine was in good shape; checked for rust esp where the spare tire is; smelled the coolant but that won't help me as I don't know what it should smell like.
