I had posted another thread earlier about the crazinesses my car was exhibiting, and then=>
The symptoms got worse.
My 26 y/o car does NOT need to have an alarm system AT ALL.
Its 26 y/o alarm module has clearly deteriorated & gone nucking futz.
There is NOTHING 'strange' AT ALL about these cars having electrical gremlins.
Said module is hard wired into the car.
Making s/w changes to a module which has clearly lost its electronic 'mind' is likely to be a wasted effort given that it no longer functions as it should...SO:
Time to lobotomize it - as in total removal.
For anyone who wishes to fool around with Trionic s/w, here is a T5 link:

What amazes me here, with so many skilled & experienced members - is that my query about rewiring to bypass the immobilizer remains unanswered.
Thus my otherwise wonderful '97 Aero remains yard art ATM.
