that I frankly hadn't even factored into the AWD equation when I bought the quattro...but it is a great thing that I soon realized was invaluable coming down the mountain on the highway (or even driving on small residential streets) in snow the ....while I was watching everyone's brake lights ahead of me.
And yes, easy does is definitely the way...I know I could push the quattro much harder if I really wanted to, (and do in empty parking lots to get an idea of the traction limits) but I'm more than happy to arrive safely at my destination in one piece a few minutes later...and it's very nice to know that i have a big safety, traction cushion in reserve for emergency maneuvers, i.e, dodging sliding 4WD SUVs.
Therefore, I am very curious/excited about the 9-2...
