I'm getting this story from the dealer today, not sure I understand the mechanism behind it.
2005 9.2x Aero (17" Bridgestone RE011 tires), 16k miles.
First there's the story about tire rotation not being covered by the free-maintenance program. It's easy to rotate them myself, so... whatever.
The tires are cupping badly on the inside shoulders, and it's pretty consistent among all 4 of them. First the dealer said that 7500 miles is kinda long between tire rotations. I told him I've rotated in-between the scheduled service intervals so that's about 3800 miles.
Then they said that's probably too often for rotation. They need to spend enough time on the back before rotating back?? Can someone explain a technical reason for this?
