Sure, it's a way to wear them out evenly so I can replace all 4 together. I really don't want another set of RE011 tires.
Besides, factory-supplied tires are usually not exactly the same as what you buy, even when they're the same name. I've heard tire companies work with car companies to develop specific tires, sorta like a customized version of what the sidewall says. So when you buy tires retail they aren't always an exact match.
Also, when your tires are worn out, there's often an 'improved' version or maybe the particular model has been discontinued. When you replace all 4 together you don't worry about a mis-matched set.
