Cupping is where the tread is worn down in little cups. Not evenly around the circumference of the tire.
On mine it's the inner shoulder of each tire. On the inner row of tread blocks, it feels as if it's worn in a continuing row of dimples, each dimple's a couple inches in diameter.
You can feel it better than seeing it. Rub your hand along the top of the tire, front-to-back. The inner row of tread blocks feels like they're not all the same height.
