I too am looking for new tires. I was sold on the Conti DWS and then found out there is a national back order on them and the progected wait is 16 months (as of last week 3-10).

I have General UHPs now and don't like them. they'll only last 30-35k and they get hard. They were great the first 15k or so and then got real bad. Hydroplaning was expected, so much so you'd think I was driving on ice when it was only raining a little bit during the summer months. And don't expect anything out of them in any trace of snow, not that I did but was shocked how bad they were with even a trace...but I have dedicated snows now so it's not an issue.

I've been leaning toward the Kumho ASX's
