All C900 dashes crack around the speaker grilles. I was accused of ruining this guy's dash when I replaced his heater control valve. It was clear he just wanted a new dash for "free" and he didn't care who was hurt by his actions. So my manager and I videotaped me removing speaker grilles and we videotaped all the other 900s with the same cracks and went to court. When the "customer" saw that we were actually going to fight he quit. He wasted a lot of peoples time and money even though he certainly knew his dash was cracked before I ever saw the car.
