I agree with Simon. David, you're seriously overreaching here and seriously trying our patience. I get the sense I'm speaking for many of us here. There was nothing lawless or even inappropriate about what Chad did. He worked hard to find a part that is difficult to locate, had to pay a premium to get the part, and he passed that cost, plus the cost of his time, on to Anil. Anil agreed to this. The fact that Anil was able to find it later at a lower price means either that he is a better shopper than Chad is, or that he just got lucky. Either way, Anil tried to go back on a gentleman's agreement over the price he agreed to pay. To my way of thinking, that was the only inappropriate thing that happened in this transaction. And whereas you can get a refund for a purchase at a department store, were you to find the item at a lower price elsewhere, electrical automotive parts are, in my experience, never refundable. Never. It's time for you and Anil to take responsibility for your own decisions and to stop pointing fingers at Chad. In my opinion, it's libelous. And I doubt that your standing as a lawyer will protect you from liability for any damage you do to his reputation, damage that you have explicitly stated in a public forum that you would attempt to inflict.

Unbelievable.
