...about the bad experience. A quick search of posts by W.S. doesn't reveal any specific issues that I can see. After all, I (like I'm sure many here) would have suggested the 9-5 as an excellent alternative to any of the cars listed. You might pay a bit more for say an '02 but you'd make up the price difference quickly in repairs and fuel. Plus you'd get a newer, safer, more fuel efficient car.
So, that said, I'm going to put the 9-5 as Number 8 on the list! It's an excellent blend of cost, performance, style, ride, efficiency, on and on. The 9-5 gets a gold star on its forehead from me!

OK, I can't resist: Number 9: the original M45. Big-time sleeper car. Yeah, I know it's Japanese, but I think it's pretty cool nonetheless. 340hp, understated design, reliable, and very unique; what's not to love?
