Thanks. I also found that link and I found out the supplier the shop here in Eugene uses: Xemodex. However, I believe it was Swedecar (?) who said they had bad luck with that Canadian company. My inclination was to go with eSaabparts although their price is higher. I found a posting from the CEO of eSaabParts saying they have never had a return on a rebuild.

I'm hoping that this will solve the problem; most of the codes that are often thrown with a bad ECU are, IIRC, are in the P2000 range.

Thanks for everyone's feedback.
