The Auto Aero is quick but nothing like the 5spd version.
To give you an idea of the 9-5 Aero 5spd it is faster then:
A 430 Benz E or S ( Aero is just 2 mph slower at top speed "Euro versions" and honestly, you're there long before the Benzes )
As fast as a 540i ( at altitude the Aero is faster )
Very close to a TT with 225Hp ( at altitude the Aero is faster )
As fast as a stock Audi S3 ( no contest at altitude, Aero drives away )
A lot quicker then the New Golf with the 204Hp V6 engine. (4 motion)
So for the money, it beats quite a few so called sports cars
and you get plenty of space and safety in a neat package.
The only way to truly apreciate the T7 ECU is to drive at altitude,
this is where the Aero simply blasts a lot of cars that are faster
at lower altitudes :)
This weekend a Jag S V8 tried to get away from my Aero, I was able
to follow with ease not reving above 3500 rpm and full boost was not
needed. I didn't wana pass him as my wife was with me... LOL She
doesn't like it when I speed on twisted mountain roads.
Coolknight drives a 2000 9-5 Aero 5spd
GO TEST DRIVE A 5SPD :)
