IMHO, keep it Posted by bobc [Email] (#473) [Profile/Gallery] (more from bobc) on Mon, 22 Jan 2007 14:02:09 In Reply to: repair list items to look for? @ 100k now, jarrald, Mon, 22 Jan 2007 13:43:48 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
The items you list are not out of line of any car at 100k. although a $4k hit can really sting.
at 120k you will replace the serp belt and pulleys again. you should also flush the fluids now if you did not at 60k (coolant, brake hydraulic, trans, PS etc) if you did, then you will be doing that at 120k as well.
you will need to replace that other wheel bearing at some point in the near future.
fuel pump, shocks, alt are all sorted out now, so you are good to go on those. DIC is prob good now, but you do want to carry a spare. get used on ebay or site sponser.
yea you will get a "code 8" or one of its friends at some point. and the alarm module will let go. and your sid is probably irritating you by now. and you will have to face replacing the TB. but these are all easily and inexpensively fixed and none will strand you.
btw did you replace the head bolts? you should.
if you love driving it, keep it.
