I drove for 40 minutes, mostly highway and followed the fluid level checking procedure in the owner's manual [see gearbox].
Including the 4 quarts added in the 3rd drain and fill, I needed another 18 ounces of fluid to get the level 1/3 through the min-max marking on the dip stick. With a 7.5 US quart capacity, it appears that the first first drain [from a proper operating level] removed 61% of the fluid. When the secondary drains and fills are done with 4 quarts, the fluid in the trany is 6.9 quarts and the 4 quart drain removes 58% of the fluid. I think that the residual old fluid is something like 6.9% [.39x.42x.42].
