I just got a 2001 Wagon with only 1 key, (remote not working, Battery Dead?) I am wondering if you can use a blank sidewinder (without any transponder) in combination with a key that is either uncut or cut for anoter car (like found on fleabay).
does the transponder key have to be in the ignition or just next to it while using a key tha is cut without any electronics in the ignition. sorry if I repeat my self but I kind of a complicated and or stupid question. TIA
