2004 9-5 Aero 42k
2000 9-3 SE 130k
1994 900 SE 160k (RIP)
Arrgh...got my wife a 04 Aero CPO with 37k on it six months ago and the same old problems I had to contend with ten years ago on my 94 900 SE are still plaguing these cars. Things like missing SID pixels have been a problem since the 1994 900, ten years later and we are still dealing with these issues? DI cartridges have been troublesome since the 1994 900 as well, things actually have gotten worse with intro of the black T7 DIC, recent CEL code P1312 tells me it will soon be time for a new DIC in the Aero. And these engines are still prone to sludging? All this stuff should have been fixed by Saab, what ever happened to improvement through evolution?
My wife is beginning to lose confidence in this car with 4 CELs in the last 6 months. I never had this many CELs in a combined 290k in my 94 900 and 00 9-3. Thank God it is under a CPO warranty.
Well anyway, here is my question...
Will my spare DIC for my 2.0 litre 00 9-3 fit in my 04 9-5 Aero? Guess it might be sitting in the wrong trunk. (I am on my third one in my 00 9-3).
