New Game: What's my 9-5 Worth? Posted by B Millar [Email] (#1109) [Profile/Gallery] (more from B Millar) on Sat, 8 Nov 2008 13:33:41 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Okay, so maybe you saw my post below about the '04 Arc I drove yesterday that has me drooling. With the economy the way it is this is probably not a terrible time to buy a car, seeing as they can't move a THING. This is a huge IF, but if I were to find a decent 9-5 to replace mine with, what do you think someone would pay for mine? It's a 2001 9-5 SE V6 sedan with 183k miles on it. I've put just under $6k into it over the past year and a half replacing the turbo, timing belt, serp belt, exhaust, engine mounts... you name it I've probably replaced it. It's in very nice condition for its age and mileage; new SID with 100% of the pixels, replaced the ripped back seat, it's got some door dings but what car doesn't? You probably think I am dumb for asking but I have conflicting information. My indy said $2000. Ya. Right. KBB says $4,980, I feel like once you get past a certain mileage the price doesn't change on KBB. This isn't an advertisement, I am in no way shape or form ready to do this immediately, just curious. I may put an ad on CL for $5k and see how much interest I get, if any, just to "test the waters." I'd most likely be selling it private party. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions. Here's what it looks like.
