The '02 is the slight restyle and 5-speed auto. Stick drivers seem to be happy with the 5-speed auto in sport mode, or at least I am. The 02-03 V6 Arcs are especially sweet Saabs with standard premium package and vented seats, at least that's the USA spec. With the V6 you need maintenance documentation that includes the cam belt replacement at 100km
All the cool people drive SportWagons.
Can't speak to an isolated resale case, but it sounds like super high mileage skews the numbers . 130km is still 80,000 miles, quite a lot and way more than expected for a 2005. 80,000 miles is still nowhere close to worn out territory as many well cared for Saabs go way beyond 200,000 miles
A 9-5 is very comparable in room and performance to the mid size Europeans like the 5-Series BMW's, E Class Benzes, or A6 Audis, but a 9-5 price more closely resembles the smaller models from these folks.
Reliability and durability seems to be just as good and service and parts prices seem to be less than the Germans and in my experience, not that much more than Japanese service in my experience.
