Here in Sweden you just walk in to any Saab dealer and buy them.
There is no rocket science involved. There is a 10 pin connector
behind the ACC and the cable cable you buy from Saab is just like
10 inches long with loose cables or a connector that mates directly
with an Ericsson handsfree unit. The wires are just power, ground,
speaker, microphone, mute, and you should be able to connect them
to any ordinary handsfree kit. The instructions delivered with the
adapter cable tells you how to use it (and get the microphone level
right for your phone). For US MY2001 cars with the big brother system
(onstar) the 10 pin connector is in use by that system and I don't know
how to handle that (except by unplugging the onstar cable). :-)
Note that you still need to use the Motorola handsfree kit. What the
Saab adapter cable gives you is a replacement for the speaker in the
handsfree kit (use the audio system instead), replacement for the mic
(use the one by the rear view mirror), power, and a mute signal for
the audio system. By using the audio system as the speaker you can
control the phone volume from the steering wheel. You will also get a
very neat installation, no extra speaker and no extra microphone.
