Why is Saab Cars USA spending resources on this? Whatever conclusions
they came to after the investigation was outdated almost immediately.
Phones appear and disappear on the market at an ever increasing
frequency. Whatever is true at one point in time is false at another
point in time. You can't continue recommending Nokia 2100, 5100, and 6100
phones forever. That will only make Saab driver in the US visit garage
sales in their hunt for "the only phones that will ever work in a 9-5".
Over here in Sweden Saab doesn't say anything on what phone you should
use, they just sell an universal cable and a cable prewired for Ericsson.
Furthermore have I never heard of anyone having to reboot an Ericsson
phone in the US just to be able to receive calls. Testing phones from
15 popular brands and only manage to get Nokia phones working seems to
me that the blame should not be against the phone manufacturers.
