I suppose a person not owning any car at all but relying on his/her feet, bicycle and public transportation would have similar green-eyed hostility towards car drivers who are out about on any snow day, especially those idiot drivers who make turns and drive over crosswalks with complete disregard for bikes and pedestrians.
To generalize that hostility towards all car drivers however would be a mark of self-centered immaturity, just as silly as the car drivers who do not check their blind spots for cyclists and pedestrian, and as silly as the SUV drivers who think they are invincible.
To say that everyone should stay home when there is more than 5 inches of snow only shows how limited life experience you have. My wife use to hate SUV's, until she got stuck _outside_ the drive way coming home from Christmas party, when we lived 30 miles outside the city. Our house sitter used to hate SUV's, until one time while house sitting for our new house 5 miles outside the city got her FWD car stuck on an up slope while we were on vacation, and she had to borrow our SUV to go to work. I have owned cars instead of SUV's most of my driving life, but I'm a live-and-live kind of guy.
