I want to stay with Saab, I really do. There are no buts. I want this production BS to clear up, the Russian backer to inject funds and I want the 93 to see light of day. If the 93 was not on the horizon I would right this second walk to a Volvo dealer and get into a 2011 dark grey S60 T5 with white leather and all the associated gizmos xenon/nav for 1.9K down and $299 a month with most, if not all, wear and tear and sched maintenance free for life of lease. (I'm not in love with the car, but lease wise, given the extra mech protection, it's the best value, IMO) I would do this via lease because the Scandinavian marks are in a turbulent time of transition and there's nothing out there that I would drop 15-20K on.
I have a gallon of water in the car and am leaving my office to head home to pack for LA. I'll let you guys know what's up with the pressure test when I get back. I think I can stomach a sub 1K bill and keep driving for now. I just wont worry about a tug, creak or clunk knowing fully well all it has to do is serve another 18 months.
