I used the General Altimax snow tires last winter on 16 inch shield wheels on my aero. They were great in the snow; they are a snow tire though; T or Q speed rated so they are a bit softer..the handling was not "squiggly"
like Bridgstone Blizzaks though. A true snow tire they are not quiet either. The wear was pretty good also for a soft tire; much better than Blizzaks.
