Hello all,
Many thanks for all of the advice. Here is an update, In my haste, I realized I had not tried to start with a bit of starting fluid. Since I did not hear the fuel pump cycle when I turned the key and had checked the relay, I assumed it was the pump. Because I had run down the battery attempting to start, I needed to jump the car. so I opened the intake sprayed in some starting fluid, then quickly re-assembled the intake, connected the jumper cables and it started right up. Now I assumed it would only run a minute or two, until all of the starting fluid gas ran out. However it kept running. I also noticed that the on-star light was red and the temperature controls had a zero displayed. After a few minutes of running, the on-star light went green and the temperature controls went back to normal. I then was able to drive around my neighborhood as if nothing happened.
Needless to say, I am stumped. Any Ideas? Potentially failing cps?
