If the rear shocks have never been replaced they are gone. The springs also tend to sag especially on Aero wagons. I would not waste money on new springs. There are many discussion here about rear suspension, do a search to learn what has been said.
First measure your ride height. On your Aero it should be 610mm [24 inches]from the inner fender edge to the end of the wheel measuring through the center of the wheel.
If it is less than that measurement you need to add spacer(s) beneath the spring. this is a generally accepted practice. There are some on eBay and genuinesaab dot com sells some for Koni shocks. This company is also a good source of Koni shocks and struts. These are highly recommended for the Saab 95. The FSD works well and are more expensive [$825] and the Sports [$650] are adjustable. You can set them for the type of ride you want. I like the Sports set softly if that is what you want or harder if you want a more sporting ride. You have your choice. If some says the sports are too harsh for their taste they should just readjust. I have mine set at 50% on my 2001 Aero and like that setting. My wife has fresh OE Sachs on hers and they are a bit less sporting.
You can use OEM which are Sachs from eeuro or Monroes are cheaper, but seem to wear out. Some have had good luck with Bilstein.
The 95 has a 3 link rear suspension and with that mileage the upper lateral arm bushings could need replacing along with the trailing arm bushing [front one].
You should have a full alignment done of all 4 wheels to the Saab specs. You can get some pretty bad tire wear if the specs are off.
