Dano, Check the wiring for ABS wheel speed sensors on its way back under the rear seat/s.
I have seen before that the 9-5 wagon seats that get folded up/down a lot will tend to pinch the wiring harness and cause your type of symptom. Do you use the wagon to haul many heavy object with the rear seats folded down?
Still possible that you may have had issue with the ABS/ESP control module. After it was repaired it was now able to recognize actual faults.
Depending on what types of fault codes it was storing before and after being rebuilt cold possibly confirm this.
