How are you finding the hakka R's? I've put 1 winter on our set on the 9-5... 205/55R16 iirc... They are not bad, but I have been somewhat disappointed in how they do on icy patches. I don't know if this is a 9-5 vs c900 thing or a tire thing. My other main points of comparison are c900's running older non studded hakka's (4 and prior to that 1)... The c900's drive circles around the 9-5 in all winter conditions, even with older tires vs brand new R's... I had Michelin Primacy Alpins on the 9-5 prior to the hakka R's and the R's really are no better on ice, a little better in snow, and worse on dry roads. The differences are not huge but I was expecting better coming from the other hakkas.
I kind of wish I had stuck with the michelin snows for another year (sold them with a couple seasons left) because Nokian just released the R2, which sounds like a big step up from the R. I would love to hear anyone's real life feedback on the R2 (on a 9-5) once they get some miles on them!
Sadly we are not allowed studs here or I would be running studded hakka 7's!
