The first fix for leaky head gasket should be replacment and retightening of the head bolts. It is a very simple procedure, $50 in parts and ~1 hour of labor. Only if this does not help one should replace the whole head gasket. See the attached TSB (courtesy of Swedecar/Anders). '02 should have good bolts from the factory but I would probably replace them just in case. I would also recommend re-torque the bolts again after ~1000 miles - especially if it keeps on leaking.
