I mean, some people can do all or almost all their own repairs or can find someone less expensive to hire to keep them running.
And there are owners who will tolerate a little oil leaking, when others won't.
Each of us has a different breaking point; don't assume because the car is too much trouble to you, that there is therefore no one who will take on the car and fix what they can and triage what they can't. In a way, once a car brand is orphaned, there is no such thing as a pampered example of that car. As Bob Dylan says (paraphrased) "she's out on the street and she's gonna have to get used to it". :^
