Just a couple of things-2001 saw a major change in suspension. The 1999 and 2000 I think had more of a "luxury" ride which changed to a more sporty ride for 2001 and on. I've only had the 3 liter 6 cyl engine, and I am happy with it, many prefer the 4 cyl. Saab has a history with the 4 cyl. The 6 cyl requires an expensive timing belt every 60k miles. Good luck.
