It is not uncommon to receive a bad rebuild, I even had a rebuilt Bosch unit suffer infancy failure on our last Astro van. But three in a row seems very odd. The one common thread is the same shop (former Dealer) did all the work for you. Perhaps they used an inexpensive source for their alternator rebuilds which were never done correctly.
