Perhaps an intermittent connection to ground at a grounding point or intermittent power via a crimp connector? I think you will need to methodically work through the harness schematics in the WIS to look for likely spots. A harness wiggling test (while powered, and parked in a dimmed garage) might allow you to trigger the outages you've seen.
