Full disclosure as I didn't want to lead any responses and ideas at first but I had both full axles replaced about 75k miles ago and was having a scrubbing vibration noise that went away. Just not sure if this is the same. the replacements were rebuilt axles. so originals lasted 240k. these if same only 75k. parts are cheap but not a job I am comfortable doing so ended up costing me about $400/side. I did recently completely replace my front control arms with new ball and bushings myself so everything is fresh and new EXCEPT the tie rod ends. but they had no play in them from me tugging on them with wheels up. shop also passed them. I am thinking the culprits are likely the axles, CV joints or int bearing like you said. after listening this morning it's really not even an oscillating but more random vibration noise like wheel bearing in frequency range but not oscillating. for a while I was trying to determine if it was just strut movement noise. but seems to occur whether on smooth pavement or less smooth pavement areas.

At some point I probably will return to the shop that did the axles. at least they can have stethoscopes to listen to noise areas but this one is tough as in the air it may not do it the same.
