It's a lot of guessing and misconception going on.
Saab rounded up and superseded a lot of the alternators in the days and uses one part number for 900/9-3 and the 9-5.
The latest number I see is 32011504 which earlier was 12770124. This is the AL0857X which is a 140A with a freewheel clutch and used from factory in the 08-09 9-5 and Saab use that one all the 900/9-3/9-5 as well.
The AL0813X is 140A without a freewheel clutch and the AL0782X is a 130A without freewheel clutch.
It would be better to do some testing and checking that you have a trigger signal to starter solenoid when problem is there and if you do and the signal is strong, it is probably the starter.
