Thanks - I haven’t had a chance to get it into the shop just yet and I noticed the carfax shows several repairs to the climate control system prior to my ownership, so it seems like it’s been a part swap issue as you described.

I don’t have a problem with having it charged every year even if it’s a band-aid, but if I can get it sorted so I don’t have to that would be preferable.

The car only has 32k miles and I’m also suspecting that part of the issue is due to lack of use, which I’m hoping to remedy.
