My spouse took our 2004 9-5 Arc to drug store - drove fine. When she started the car to return home, the ABS, TC, and brake lights all illuminated. Brakes worked fine. Got home and I went out to see what happened. I started the car - all lights were off..normal.
Drove car and all worked fine.
This incident repeated itself about a week later, spouse was driving the car. Again, when I started it, everything was normal.
A few days later I got in and started the car, the ABS/TC/Brake lights all came on.
I have a Blue Driver OBD dongle and tried to pull some codes - nothing.
Did some searching here and found this thread:
https://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/9-5/index.html?bID=278328
Do I really need a Tech2 to diagnose this problem? Alternative approaches?
I see references to 'rebuilding the ABS module'...what does that entail?
Thanks for any guidance/pointers.
John
