Wow!! I think I had one of those 10 years ago trying to locate a leak in my home A/C system. Was trying to locate a leak in the evaporator coil but not easy when system is pressurized but fan airflow defeats pinpointing anything. Product literature leads one to believe that life of detector part is limited to 24 hours of use before needing a replacement part unless you buy heavier duty pro version. Could work for connections of a/c piping perhaps. Other option is UV dye added to low side port and searching with UV light for leaks.
